Providing members with valuable educational content is vital for association growth and development. Collaboration with corporate partners can enhance these efforts.
However, it’s crucial to balance associations’ needs for educational content and companies’ needs to market products and services.
I worked with an association client and a corporate partner to create a mutually beneficial arrangement:
⏩ The corporate partner contributed educational content for various association communications channels.
⏩ At the end of each educational presentation and article, the corporate partner would provide a link or QR code directing interested members to a webpage that included relevant product and service information.
👍 This aligns with the philosophy of educating to sell, not selling to educate.
